IG Sindh orders private guards to train firing

KARACHI: IG Sindh has ordered private guards to be trained in police training schools.

According to the Security Agencies Association, a five -member delegation of the All Pakistan Security Agencies Association participated in the meeting. Data from all security guards responsible for protecting foreigners was compiled.

Security Agencies Association Chairman Major (R) Munir Ahmed gave a briefing on the implementation of the government SOP and said that the security guards were recruited after confirming from law enforcement agencies.

The briefing stated that the registered security guards are being provided with “barcode” service card and uniform seeds, the bar code will be verified by the mobile phone application at any time.
