Kite-flying material seized from factory, owner arrested

The Ghulam Muhammadabad Police raided a factory producing kite-flying equipment, seizing millions of rupees worth of materials and raw goods.

Additionally, the factory owner, Abdul Rehman, was arrested. This raid was the result of a tip-off, and SHO Inspector Rana Rashid Mahmood led the operation near Qadirabad Chowk. During the raid, police confiscated a large quantity of kite-flying equipment, materials, and raw goods.

Investigations revealed that Abdul Rehman used machinery to produce these materials and sold them in various cities, including Faisalabad.

A case has been registered against him, and a search for his accomplices is underway. SHO stated that there is a strict ban on kite-flying, and legal action is being taken against those involved in the production and sale of kite-flying equipment.

Meanwhile, a young motorcyclist lost his life in a collision with a truck on Samandri Road.

The police took custody of the body and handed it over to the heirs after completing the necessary formalities.

According to details, the accident occured near the 66 Pul on Samandri Road, where a speeding truck driver showed negligence and recklessness, colliding with 27-year-old motorcyclist Hanif, son of Muhammad Hussain.

Hanif was provided medical aid and shifted to THQ Hospital Samandri, where he succumbed to his injuries after a struggle between life and death. Upon information, the police reached the spot, took custody of the deceased’s body, and handed it over to the heirs after completing the necessary formalities.
