Rain forecast in various cities including Islamabad

The meteorological department has predicted rain in various cities including Islamabad.

According to the Department of Meteorology, the weather is expected to remain cold and partly cloudy in most of the upper regions of the country, however, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the mountains in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast Punjab, Potohar region, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Rain is expected in different parts of Islamabad, Murree, Guliyat, Rawalpindi and Attock are likely to have fog, Chakwal, Sialkot, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, Jhelum, Lahore, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Khushab, Faisalabad and Jhang. Thunderstorms are forecast.

Rain is expected in different parts of Azad Kashmir, rain and snowfall are expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, cold weather will remain in Quetta, Pashin, Zhob and Chaman, cold winds are predicted in Qila Abdullah and its surroundings.

The Meteorological Department has indicated the possibility of thunderstorms in Sukkur, Kashmore and Jacobabad, rain and snow is likely to start in the hilly districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Rain is expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Buner and Shangla, Bitgram, Kohistan, Abbottabad and Bajaur are expected to experience rain and snow.

There is a possibility of snowfall on the mountains in Mansehra, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai and Karam.
