Fog camps, motorways closed for traffic from many places

Most parts of the country were engulfed in heavy fog, the motorways were closed for traffic at many places.

According to the spokesperson of Motorway Police, Motorway M2 from Lahore to Kot Momin while Motorway M3 from Lahore to Abdul Hakeem was closed due to heavy fog in different places of the country.

Motorway M4 from Pindi Bhattian to Abdul Hakim while Motorway M5 from Sher Shah Rahim Yar Khan to Rohri was closed for traffic due to fog.

Due to heavy fog, the motorway was closed at various places

Spokesperson Motorway Police said that Lahore-Sialkot Motorway M11 has also been closed due to fog.

Motorways are closed to ensure public safety and safe travel, citizens should travel at maximum hours of the day.

The spokesman further said that people should avoid unnecessary travel, avoid speeding and keep proper distance from the next vehicle, drivers should use fog lights.
