KARACHI:

A car dealer of Afhan origin residing in Rawalpindi was allegedly slain by his partners to rob the Rs7 million he had brought to buy a SUV in Karachi.

Police have registered a case against two suspects in connection with the murder of Muhammad Mustafa, a young car dealer, at a guesthouse in DHA Phase-VII. The case was registered on the complaint of victim’s father, Muhammad Kausar Khan, late Tuesday night at the Defence police station, against Mujahid and Obaid.

As per police, Mustafa had traveled to Karachi from Rawalpindi, bringing with him Rs7 million in cash. He was accompanied by the suspects. On Tuesday morning, when Khan tried to contact his son, he was unable to get through, which raised his suspicions.
