Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that no further tax burden will be put on retailers in the tax net.

During a meeting with the delegation of Pakistan Retail Business Council, the Prime Minister directed the concerned authorities to form a committee to resolve the problems of retailers.

Shahbaz Sharif said that all retailers who do not pay taxes are taking priority measures to bring them into the tax net, accelerating measures for smuggling of used goods.

He said that the local industry should adopt innovative technology for export of its goods so that it can counter the international market, the government is taking steps to make the economy cashless.
