The Meteorological Department predicted rainfall and snowfall across the country from next week.

According to the Meteorological Department, the system of western winds will enter the country from February 24, with heavy rains and snowfall likely in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad and Gilgit -Baltistan.

In addition, heavy rains and snowfall in Kashmir from February 25 to March 2, rains and snowfall in Balochistan from February 24 to February 26, and light rains in Sindh from 25 to 26 February.

Rain and snowfall have also been reported in Murree, Goliath, Naran, Kaghan and other mountainous areas.
