Ramadan in Pakistan predicted to start on March 2

The Pakistan Space and Upper Atmospheric Research Commission (Sparko) predicted Ramadan to start from March 2 in the country.

According to spokesman Sparco, the new moon in the country will be 28 February 2025 at 5pm to 45 minutes. At sunset, the moon will be 12 hours and height is 5 degrees.

The spokesperson said that Hilal is difficult to see due to the low height and distance of the moon on February 28. On February 28, the moon and the sun’s angle, 7 degrees, Hilal will not be seen with the human eye.

School hours change for Ramadan

He predicted that Ramadan in Pakistan is likely to start on March 2, 2025.

According to Sparco, Hilal may appear in Saudi Arabia on February 28, Ramadan in Saudi Arabia will begin on March 1.

He said that Shawal’s moon is expected on March 30 in the country, Eid -ul -Fitr may be on March 31. The final decision on the attitude of the moon of Ramadan is with the Ravi Hilal Committee.
