Sources reveal Eagles have not declined White House visit after Super Bowl win

The Philadelphia Eagles have not yet formally declined a White House visit following their Super Bowl win, as no invitation has been extended.

Earlier reports suggested that the Eagles, who defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl, would not visit the White House. However, after their 40-22 victory, which ended the Chiefs’ hopes of a three-peat, no official invitation has been made.

Sources from the White House have confirmed to TMZ that there are no plans for the Eagles to visit at this time. The Eagles were previously offered a White House visit after their 2018 Super Bowl win during Donald Trump’s presidency, but the plans were canceled after several players voiced opposition.

Eagles star Lane Johnson expressed openness to visiting this time, leaving the decision to a team vote. Owner Jeffrey Lurie also gave a vague response when asked about a potential visit before the Super Bowl. Last year, the Kansas City Chiefs visited President Joe Biden.
