Minor shoots self while playing with gun

A 10-year-old boy died after being shot while playing with a pistol. After completing legal formalities, the police handed over the body to the deceased’s family.

According to details, Asadullah, a 10-year-old resident of Chak No. 75 RB in the remits of Kharrianwala police station, was playing with a pistol at home when a bullet in the chamber suddenly discharged, and hit him, due to which, he sustained severe injuries and died on the spot.

SHO Kharrianwala and other police personnel reached the spot, took the body into custody and later handed it over to the heirs.
