Discover new oil and gas reserves in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

New oil and gas reserves have been discovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Waziristan block.

The new discovery was made by Mardi Energy in the Waziristan block of oil and gas, according to Mardi Energy, 12.96 million cubic feet of gas was discovered daily from Spinum One Well while 20 barrels of crude oil were also discovered.

The excavation on this well was started on May 28, 2024, working as a Madi Energy Operator company in Waziristan Block, as the operator company in Waziristan Block is 55 % shares holder.

Joint adventure along with Madi Energy also includes OGDCL and OPI, according to Madi Energy, the new discovery will play a role in expanding the country’s hydrocarbon resources.
