Petrol is likely to be Rs 4 per liter from March 1

Petrol is likely to be expensive in Pakistan from March 1, despite oil prices falling 3 % in the international market.

According to sources, the price of petrol can increase by about Rs 4 per liter while high speed diesel (HSD) and kerosene price may be reduced by one rupee per liter.

The rise in petrol prices has been estimated due to a slight rise in international prices and a decrease in exchange rate against the dollar, with benchmark Brent prices have usually been stable over the past 10 days.

The price of X -depot petrol is currently Rs 256 per 13 paise per liter and high speed diesel is priced at Rs 263, 95 paise per liter.
