A new agreement has been reached between the Palestinian organization Hamas and Israel regarding the exchange of prisoners.

The sides agreed to the release of more than 600 Palestinian prisoners and the exchange of the bodies of 4 Israeli abductees. Israel was stopped by more than 600 Palestinians, but is likely to be released today.

Israeli media also confirmed the barrier to the ceasefire deal, saying that a Palestinian prisoner is likely to be released today, after which Hamas will hand over the bodies of 4 Israeli abductees to Israel through Egypt.

According to the new agreement, Hamas will not hold a ceremony to hand over the bodies. On the other hand, US envoy Steve Watkov says Israeli representatives have left for the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire.
