First Crime Control Department established in Punjab

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has approved the establishment of a crime control department to control the crime.

The first crime control department has been set up in Punjab to control crime. Which was approved by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. The Crime Control Department will use modern technology to reduce crime.

On the orders of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, it was decided to provide drone surveillance technology to the CCD. If the crime is committed, the surveillance drone will reach the scene in 5 minutes.

The CCD will immediately move if there is murder and other crimes. And the Crime Control Department will take immediate steps to control the shooter mafia. While the CCD organized will take action against the mafia.

The CCD will be responsible for crime and criminal data management across Punjab. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also approved the deployment of the Crime Control Department. The head of the department will be the Additional Inspector General.

The Crime Control Department has decided to appoint SSP and SP in 3 DIG, Divisional Headquarters. It was also decided to deploy the DSP in each district.

The CCD will consist of a total of 4,258 officers and personnel. 2,258 officers and personnel were immediately transferred from Punjab Police. The Chief Minister also approved buildings, vehicles and modern equipment for the CCD.

Maryam Nawaz directed the department to provide the resources needed for the Crime Control Department.

The Chief Minister ordered immediate steps for the establishment of the CCD and said that the Crime Control Department in Punjab would reduce crime. And the establishment of the CCD should make a clear fear among the criminals.

He said that the shortage of resources would not be allowed to ensure the safety of the people. And get the best technology to overcome the crime.
