Blast at Darul Euloom Haqqani Mosque in now Leaves several injured

A blast occurred at the Darul Uloom Haqqania mosque in Akora Khattak area of Khayber-Pakhunkhwa province’s Nowshera districy causing significant damage and reportedly injuring several people.

Maulana Hamidul Haqqani Haqqani, Son of the Slain Jamiat Ulema-E-Islam-Sami (Jui-s) Leader Maulaana Samiul Haqqani, was critically injured in the attack, according to local media reports.

Haqqani was reportedly offering Friday prayers in the front row when the blast occurred.

DPO Nowshera, Abdul Rashid, stated that rescue teams have arrived at the scene.

Security sources believe the attack may have been carried out by a suicide bomber.
