JUI (S) chief Maulana Hamidul Haq was buried in the side of his father Maulana Samiul Haq.

His funeral was attended by former Amir Jamaat -e -Islami Sirajul Haq, former Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ghulam Ali and other political leaders.

A large number of religious leaders, scholars and students attended the funeral of the JUI (S) chief.

It may be recalled that seven people, including Maulana Hamidul Haq Haqqani, were martyred in a suicide bombing after Friday prayers at the Jama Masjid of Darul Uloom Haqqaniya Akora Khattak.
