
For the first time for minorities in Gujranwala introduces “Minarity Card”

Gujranwala: The Punjab government has announced the introduction of a “minaret card” for the first time in Gujranwala.
Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora distributed cards to deserving minority families. National and provincial members, including district administration officers, also attended the event.
Total 5,454 applications were received from Gujranwala, out of which 5,117 families were eligible. The district administration has received 2,400 minority cards from the Punjab government. While the other received requests are underway.

Assistant Commissioners will distribute minority cards to the minority community along with public representatives in all the districts of Gujranwala. And under the program, Rs 10,500 will be provided to deserving minority families on a quarterly basis.
The families whose PMT score is 45 or less will be eligible for this card.
