According to the Pakistan Army Department of Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Asim Munir visited the Bahawalpur Cantonment Board. Army Chief was briefed on the operational readiness of Bahawalpur Corps.

According to the ISPR, Army Chief General Asim Munir while addressing the officers and the men, praised his irrational dedication, high morale and war preparations and said that strict training plays a key role in improving the professionalism of a soldier, to continue his challenges for modern war.

Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir also inaugurated the CMH Institute of Medical Sciences, Innovasta Cholistan and Integrated Combat Semi -Semi -Arena, the aim of pursuing the process of medical education, information technology and combat preparations.
