‘Anora’ wins Best Picture; Adrien Brody, Mikey Madison, Zoe Saldaña among top honourees

The 97th Academy Awards celebrated outstanding achievements in cinema, with Anora emerging as the night’s biggest winner.

The film secured Best Picture, and Sean Baker received Best Director for his exceptional work on the project. Mikey Madison was honoured with Best Actress for her role in Aorwhile Adrien Brody took home Best Actor for his performance in The Brutalist. Zoe Saldaña made history by winning Best Supporting Actress for Emilia Pérez.
