Federal Government audit funds given to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azmi Bukhari

LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Bukhari has demanded the federal government’s audit of funds given to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Provincial Information Minister Azmi Bukhari told the media that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was taking the lead in lawlessness, terrorism and corruption. While the Gundapur government’s 625 projects will be like planting one billion trees.

He said that in one year, no Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister or chief minister was seen inaugurating a new project. If the Chief Minister did not come to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa office, did these projects started?

Azmi Bukhari said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government does not have the budget to run universities, which has led them to sell land. Do not lie to 625 projects.

He said that government employees in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa protest for salaries and but Ali Amin Gandapur’s priorities are not the poor people of the province but Adiala jail.

Azmi Bukhari said that local representatives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa protest for funds every week. And corruption in the province is at its peak. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the people of the Accountability Committee are involved in corruption.

He said that the federal funds from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are only being held in public meetings and rallies. The federal government should audit the funds given to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
