Bangladesh’s Mashfiqur Rahim announces retirement from ODI cricket.

The wicketkeeper batsman said in his message on social media that the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy has been very difficult for me for the past few weeks after being out without any win in 2025.

“I have been announcing retirement from ODI cricket from today,” Mashfiqur Rahim said. He added in his message that our global achievements have been limited, but whenever I landed for my country, I tried to give more than 100 percent with honesty and dedication.

The wicketkeeper batsman stepped into international cricket in 2005, his ODI innings began in 2006. He has played 274 matches, of which he scored 7795 runs, including his 9 centuries and 49 half centuries.
