
Pakistan is with Palestine, supports the Arab League decision, Foreign Minister

Jeddah: Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Pakistan is with Palestine and we support the Arab League’s decision.
Addressing an extraordinary meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC), Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that along with the reconstruction of Gaza, it is important that Israel should stop the ongoing atrocities on Palestinians and adhere to international law.
He said that Pakistan stands with the Palestinian people and strongly supports the Arab League decision.
Ishaq Dar said that the current situation in Palestine is demanding immediate response from the Muslim world. Pakistan views the ceasefire move in Gaza with appreciation. Eliminating uncertainty is possible only with permanent peace.

During the meeting, Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, forced migration and plans for affiliation on their land were discussed. The Foreign Ministers unanimously supported the reconstruction of Gaza under the Arab plan and rejected any statement to forcibly expel the Palestinian people from Gaza.
At the OIC meeting, the member states expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people and condemned the Israeli aggression and demanded the international community to take immediate and concrete steps to protect the rights of the Palestinian people.
