Rashid Latif to reveal match-fixing secrets in upcoming book

Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif has announced that he is writing a book exposing match-fixing scandals that plagued cricket in the 1990s.

Speaking in a statement, Latif revealed that the book would detail how match-fixing took place and who was involved during that period.

He emphasised that the 1990s were a peak era for match-fixing in cricket and that he intends to disclose crucial information.

“I will tell everything—how match-fixing happened and who was involved,” Latif said, hinting at major revelations.

He further claimed that his book would shed light on significant incidents from that era, including the identity of a former Pakistan captain who allegedly sought a presidential pardon.

Latif, known for his outspoken stance against corruption in cricket, has previously raised concerns about integrity in the game. He had also asked 90s players to stay away from Pakistan Cricket recently.

His upcoming book is expected to provide an insider’s account of the controversies that have long surrounded cricket in the subcontinent.
