2 CTD personnel martyred in firing by unknown persons in Kohat

Unidentified gunmen opened fire in Kohat, killing two counter -terrorism department (CTD) police personnel.

According to police, the personnel were going to the office for duty to duty, the suspects opened fire near the Tanda Dam area, resulting in the death of both.

The bodies of the personnel were shifted to DHQ Hospital. After the incident, the police arrived on the spot and started a search operation in the area.

On the other hand, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has paid tribute to the martyred personnel while condemning the shooting on the policemen. The Home Minister also expressed his condolences to the families of the martyred personnel.
