
A joint session of parliament, opposition protests during the president’s address
Islamabad: Opposition recorded a protest during the speech of President Asif Ali Zardari.
At the beginning of the new parliamentary year, a joint session of parliament chaired by Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq began. He was received by the members on the arrival of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
The joint session of Parliament began with the recitation of the Holy Scriptures. After which Naat Rasool was introduced. President Asif Ali Zardari addressed the members at the formal start of the parliament.
As the President’s address began, the opposition members stood in their seats and started shouting and started shouting.
