The price per kg of sugar in the open market exceeds Rs 170

Sugar prices could not be covered, sugar prices continue to rise across the country.

In many cities, sugar is being sold for Rs 170 to 180 per kg, while the wholesale market is more than Rs 160 per kg.

The Cryan Merchant Association says that the 50kg bag of sugar has increased to Rs 8300, after which the price of sugar has increased to Rs 166 kg at wholesale rate, the price per kg in the open market has exceeded Rs 170.
