Poultry meat reached Rs 800 kg, official price neglect

Poultry meat became more expensive in Lahore, Ramadan, the shopkeepers ignored the official price.

According to the official rate in Lahore, the broiler poultry meat is Rs 595 kg but the market is being sold for Rs 800 kg.

Broiler meat is being sold at Rs 730 per kg in Tollton Market of Lahore, with clean meat being sold for Rs 800 kg in Tolton market.

The price of the chicken boneless has also reached Rs 1000, the official rate of eggs per dozen is Rs 286 per dozen.

Petrol and diesel prices in the country likely to decline

The Lahore administration has also issued official rates of vegetables and fruits, according to which onions are available at Rs 50, potato Rs 55, tomato Rs 55, green pepper Rs 115 kg.

Ginger has been priced at Rs 365, desi garlic price of Rs 610, pharmaceutical cucumber Rs 55, fenugreek price Rs 45, eggplant price Rs 60, flower cabbage price of Rs 40 and turnip price of Rs 30 kg.

In the official rate, the price of Iranian apples is Rs 290 kg, apple black colo price is Rs 325 kg, Chiko price is Rs 250 kg, papaya price is fixed at Rs 240, while in the official rate list, the first banana is priced at Rs 260.
