Discover new reservoirs of oil and gas from the Sugri block in Attock

Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL) has discovered new oil and gas reserves in Attock district of Punjab.

According to the OGDCL, the reservoirs were discovered from the Sugri Block in Attock District. The initial production of new reserves gas is estimated at 13.95 MMCFD, while oil production is estimated at 430 barrels per day.

OGDCL says new discovery will lead to an increase in hydrocarbon reserves of OGDCL.

This discovery is another positive step towards self -sufficiency in Pakistan’s energy sector, which will not only improve energy supply but will also benefit the country’s economy.
