Water shortage in the Indus River, a record of 25 years was broken

Water shortage in the Indus River broke the record of 25 years.

The control room in charge says that in 2022 the river Indus was 40 % water shortage, with a maximum of 53 % of the water low in the Sukkur Barrage in 25 years.

The water shortage in the Indus River has decreased by 52 %, the record water shortage has reached 69 %, the water level has decreased alarmingly at Gadu and Sukkur Barrage.

The control room in charge said that the river has never seen such a shortage of water in the Indus, the water is so low that the system of being released in the canals has been disrupted.

The water level at Gadu Barrage has left 20,000 and 15,000 cusecs on Sukkur Barrage, the water in Sukkur, Dadu Canal is gone while the land is visible in the beggar canal.
