Chicken meat cheap, pumpkin, okra and lemon prices increase

Chicken meat has become cheaper, ginger, arrowroot, pumpkin, okra and lemon have increased in price.

In Lahore, the price of broiler chicken meat per kg decreased by 3 rupees, the new price of chicken meat became 584 rupees per kg. Thus chicken meat became cheaper in Lahore.

The wholesale rate of live broiler chicken has been fixed at Rs 389 while the retail rate has been fixed at Rs 403 per kg, while the price of farm eggs has remained at Rs 260 per dozen.

On the other hand, people have become more worried due to the increase in vegetable prices in Bahawalnagar, pumpkin which was sold for 200 kg a week ago is now being sold at Rs 350 per kg.

Lemon, which was sold at Rs 400 a kg a week ago, is being sold at Rs 700 a kg, ginger is being sold at Rs 800 a kg.

The price of okra has increased from 200 rupees to 400 rupees per kg.
