Refuting the reports regarding the formation of PCB’s disciplinary committee

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has strongly denied the recent reports regarding the formation of a disciplinary committee.

In a statement issued by the PCB, it has been clarified that no disciplinary committee has been formed and no action has been taken against any cricketer.

The PCB further said that the reports regarding the formation of the committee and the work of making the report are baseless and contrary to facts. Reports of players being banned and fined are fabricated.

It may be noted that earlier reports claimed that the PCB had set up a disciplinary committee to deal with player abuse during the team’s tour of Ireland and England as well as the T20 World Cup 2024.
