Sujib Wazeed, the son of the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina Wajid, said that the army should stop any kind of occupation.
Sheikh Hasina Wajid’s 15-year rule has come to an end, Sheikh Hasina Wajid’s son posted on Facebook before the overthrow, asking the military to stop any takeover.
Sajib Wazid, who lives in America, said that it is your duty to protect your people and country and uphold the constitution, do not allow an unelected government to come to power even for a minute, this is the duty of the army.
Bangladesh Army Chief announces formation of interim government
It should be noted that Bangladeshi Prime Minister Hasina Wajid resigned from her post and went to India. Hasina Wajid wanted to record her speech but she could not get a chance to do so, the Army Chief had given her a deadline of 45 minutes.
Hasina Wajid and her sister have gone to India in a military helicopter from Ganabhaban (Prime Minister’s official residence). A large number of police and army were present on the streets to control them.
It should be remembered that after the announcement of the civil disobedience movement by the anti-quota system students in Bangladesh, the total number of deaths in violent protests reached 300. According to the local media of Bangladesh, 95 including 14 police officers were killed in these clashes. People have lost their lives while in total 300 people have died due to anti-government protests.
