Six dead, 4 injured in tribal clash

HYDERABAD:

A tribal vendetta between two groups of Jatoi tribe claimed lives of six men and injured four others at Baagarchi village in the riverine area of Sukkur.

According to police, the firing between two sides continued for some hours until the cops reached the village. The suspects involved in the firing escaped from their villages as the police could not declare any arrest.

The armed fight took place between the groups of Ali Dino Jatoi and Kareem Dino Jatoi. Mehar Ali, Raja, Gulbahar, Babu, Mashooq and Chitto, all Jatoi by cast, lost their lives in the incident. It is unclear how many among the slain persons belonged to Ali Dino’s group and how many to Kareem Dino’s.
