On the occasion of India’s Independence Day, Black Day is being celebrated in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir today.

According to the Kashmir Media Service, the All-Party Hurriyat Conference had called for a black day to be observed against the illegal occupation of India in the occupied valley, in view of which a complete strike and business centers are closed in the occupied valley today.

The Hurriyat leaders have said in their message that the Kashmiri people should send a strong message to India that they reject its occupation, India has no legal or moral right to celebrate its Independence Day in Occupied Kashmir.

Hurriyat leaders say that India’s occupation of Kashmir is a clear violation of international laws and UN resolutions.

Indian National Anthem made compulsory in all schools of Occupied Kashmir

According to Kashmir Media Service, on Pakistan’s Independence Day yesterday, posters in favor of Pakistan were pasted and Pakistani flags were hoisted in the occupied valley.
