SC declares PML-N’s three candidates successful

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A three-member bench led by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa declared three candidates belonging to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) successful in the vote recount case.

The court announced the verdict by 2-1. However, Justice Aqeel Ahmed dissented from the verdict.

The court restored the judgment of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), annulling the verdict of Lahore High Court (LHC) in the case.

PML-N’s Azhar Qayyum Nahra, Abdur Rehman Kanju and Zulfiqar Ahmed were declared successful in the vote recount.
