Florida Republican Representative Anna Paulina Luna has responded to the resurfacing of an old video showing her dancing in a MAGA-themed swimsuit, which has attracted attention on social media.
The 35-year-old congresswoman, who has been a staunch supporter of Donald Trump, wore the swimsuit in a 2016 video to express her backing for Trump before she took office last year.
Addressing the renewed interest in the footage, Luna took to X (formerly Twitter) to humorously confirm that she has indeed worn swimsuits and emphasised her identity as a woman, using the hashtag “MAGA.”

She also highlighted her previous features in Sports Illustrated and Maxim and mentioned her experience in designing swimwear before entering politics.

Luna, a former Air Force member, used the moment to criticise liberals, whom she blamed for the resurfacing of the images.
