New dollar rate released

On the last day of the business week, the dollar fell by 16 paise on the interbank.

According to the State Bank, the price of the dollar decreased to 278 rupees 54 paise in the interbank. On the other hand, the stock market closed at 78 thousand 45 with a decrease of 60 points.

Besides, domestic foreign exchange reserves have increased to 14.64 billion dollars after an increase of 119 million dollars.

According to the statistics released by the State Bank, in the week ending August 9, the foreign exchange reserves with the State Bank were 9.27 billion dollars, while those with the commercial banks were 5.37 billion dollars.
