13 migrants have died and 14 have gone missing after the boat overturned in Yemen’s sea.

The boat, carrying 25 Ethiopians and two Yemenis, met with an accident while passing near the coast of Yemen’s Taiz province.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) confirmed the death toll in the boat accident, including 11 men and two women.

The report said that while search operations are underway to find the missing persons, it is not clear what caused the boat to sink.

It should be noted that in July, 41 people were killed when a boat sank on the coast of Taiz, Yemen.
