Increase in prices of pulses, first grade ghee at retail level

In Lahore, wholesale and retail prices of various pulses and first grade ghee increased, while the prices of white gram, new rice and second grade ghee decreased.

According to market sources, the DC rate of chickpea dal (fine) in the wholesale market is fixed at Rs 275 while the retail price is fixed at Rs 280. However, the price of chickpea dal has increased by Rs 70 to Rs 345 in the wholesale market, while at the retail level it is being sold at Rs 360 to Rs 380 per kg.

The DC price of black gram (barek) in wholesale is fixed at Rs. 270 while for retail sale it is set at Rs. 280. However, its price has also increased by Rs. 70 in wholesale and it has reached Rs. 340 per kg and at the retail level it is sold at Rs. 360-370. In progress.

The wholesale price of besan is 290 rupees while the retail price is fixed at 300 rupees.

Chicken meat has gone up to Rs 555 per kg

In the open market, the price of first grade ghee has increased by Rs. 15 to Rs. 515 per kg and a five-pack of ghee has increased by Rs. 75 to Rs.

In the wholesale market, the price of white chand has been reduced by Rs 30 and it is selling up to Rs 270 per kg. The price of new rice has also decreased by Rs 10 in the market.

On the other hand, in the open market, the wholesale price of grade II ghee per kg will decrease by Rs. 12 to Rs. 440, while the price of a 12-pack packet has decreased by Rs. 144.

The prices of pulses fixed at the retail level in the DC rate are higher than those at the wholesale level, excluding transportation, store charges, envelopes, electricity bills and taxes.
