The dollar became 278.64 rupees in interbank

On the first day of the business week, the interbank dollar recorded a further marginal increase.

According to the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan, there was a slight increase of 10 paise in the interbank dollar price at the close of business on Monday.

After which the price of American currency increased from 278 rupees 54 paise to 278 rupees 64 paise.

The dollar was trading at Rs 278.44 after easing by 10 paise at the opening of trade. The dollar closed at Rs 278.54 after losing 10 paisa at the end of the business day last weekend.

In the open market, the buying price of the US dollar was Rs 278.25 and the selling price was Rs 279.75.

On the other hand, the price of gold remained stable in the exchange market today. The price of gold per tola in the country remains at 2 lakh 62 thousand 500 rupees.

The price of 10 grams of gold remained stable at Rs 2 lakh 25 thousand 51. Apart from this, the price of gold remained stable at $2503 per ounce in the global market.

Besides, the limit of 79 thousand has been restored in the Pakistan Stock Market on the first day of the business week.

A positive trend was observed at the opening of business in Pakistan Stock Market, 100 index increased by 515 points to reach 79 thousand 3 points.

The stock market closed at 78,488 points at the end of the last business day last week.
