The US seized the plane of the president of Venezuela

Miami: The United States has taken into custody the plane of the Venezuelan president in the Dominican Republic.

According to US officials, the Dassault Falcon 900 EX private plane has been delivered to Florida. which was used by Maduro and members of his government.

The US Department of Justice says the plane was bought illegally.

Attorney General Merrick Garland said that the Department of Justice has seized one such plane. Which we allege was illegally bought by a company for 1 crore 3 million dollars.

He said the plane was smuggled out of the United States for use by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his associates.

The US enlisted the help of tracking site FlightRadar24 to intercept the plane, officials said. According to which, since May 2023, this plane was flying exclusively from a military base in Venezuela.

According to the tracking site, the plane took off from Santo Domingo to Fort Lauderdale last morning. After which the US authorities confiscated the plane from Fort Lauderdale Airport.
