Defense Day will be celebrated today with full enthusiasm

Rawalpindi: Defense Day will be celebrated today with full enthusiasm in the country. A grand function will be organized at GHQ on September 6 in which the Prime Minister will be the chief guest.

On the occasion of Defense Day, the day will begin with a 31-gun salute in the federal capital and 21 in the provincial capital. After the Fajr prayer, prayer ceremonies will be organized across the country.

Apart from this, ceremonies will be held at the martyrs’ shrines and Fatiha will be recited. A special program will also be organized at the public and private level on the occasion of Defense Day.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will be the chief guest at the ceremony to be held at GHQ. Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir and armed forces chiefs, ambassadors of many countries and assembly members will also participate.
