Chicken meat is more expensive, eggs, vegetables and fruits also set new prices

Lahore, chicken meat has become more expensive, the price of eggs has remained the same, new prices of vegetables and fruits have also been released.

The price of live broiler chicken has also increased by three rupees, the wholesale rate of live broiler chicken has been fixed at Rs 386 per kg while the retail rate has been fixed at Rs 400 per kg.

The price of farm eggs per dozen in Lahore remains at the level of Rs 304. The Lahore administration has also released the official rates of vegetables and fruits.

According to the official price list, first grade onions are available at Rs 145 per kg, potatoes at Rs 82 per kg, tomatoes at Rs 100 per kg, green chillies at Rs 110 per kg, ginger at Rs 585 per kg, local garlic at Rs 385 per kg and farm cucumber at Rs 140 per kg.

The price per kg of fenugreek has been fixed at Rs 265, the price of brinjal is Rs 55 per kg, the price of cauliflower is Rs 100 per kg and the price of turnip is Rs 120 per kg.

In the official price list, the price of Shimla pepper has been set at Rs 178 per kg, lemon desi at Rs 690 per kg, peas at Rs 300 per kg, Ghia pumpkin at Rs 75 per kg, carrot china at Rs 78 per kg and bitter gourd at Rs 160 per kg.

Apple Gaja Rs 195, Pomegranate Desi Rs 265, Peach Rs 255 per kg, Guava Rs 170 per kg, Pears Rs 210 per kg, Grape Sundarkhani is available at Rs 400 per kg.
