All matters with the IMF have been settled, Finance Minister

ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said that all matters with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have been settled amicably. It will be finalized in the board meeting this month.

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said in his statement regarding the IMF agreement that Alhamdulillah all matters with the IMF have been settled amicably. For which Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s team, IMF negotiation team and related institutions are grateful. who played a key role in the final stages.

He said that these matters will be finalized in the board meeting of IM AHF this month.

Muhammad Aurangzeb said that the economy is heading towards development after stabilization. A reduction in the policy rate will increase investment and business activities in the country.

He said that the increase in economic activities will create employment opportunities and the common man has started getting relief from the trend of continuous reduction in the rate of inflation.

Earlier, the Director of Communication of the IMF, Julia Kozek, confirmed that the Executive Board meeting will be held on September 25. In which the new loan program for Pakistan is expected to be approved.
