Big news about iron and steel

During the first month of this financial year, July 2024, the national imports of iron and steel have increased by more than 9%.

According to the data of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, during this period, the volume of imports increased to 45.4 billion rupees, while in July 2023, the value of imports of iron and steel was 41.6 billion rupees.

Thus, compared to July 2023, an increase of 3.8 billion rupees i.e. 9.18% has been recorded in domestic imports of iron and steel during July 2024.
