Special message of the President and Prime Minister on the occasion of 12 Rabi Awal

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has said that he is the source of guidance for humanity till the end of his life. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that pledge to put aside the differences and work for the development of the country and the nation.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued special messages to the nation on the occasion of 12 Rabi Awwal. President Asif Ali Zardari while congratulating the nation and the Muslim Ummah on the auspicious occasion of 12 Rabi Al-Awwal said that Allah Ta’ala has given us a great blessing in the form of the birth of the Prophet.

He said that you are the source of guidance for humanity till the end of time. And this day lights the candle of love for the Messenger of Allah in the heart of every Muslim.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif while congratulating the Muslim Ummah and the people of Pakistan on Eid Milad-un-Nabi said that on 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, Allah Almighty gave the light of perfect guidance to guide mankind. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) exhorted us to unity, love and brotherhood.

He said that they should take a pledge to put aside differences and work for the development of the country and the nation. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) always taught to help the weak, orphans and the needy. Today we must pay attention to people suffering from poverty, hunger and suffering.

Shahbaz Sharif said that it is our responsibility to follow the actions of the Holy Prophet. On this occasion, we should also remember the oppressed Palestinian and Kashmiri brothers and sisters. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) always taught justice, freedom and protection of human rights.

He said that we pray that Allah Almighty grants freedom and justice to the people of Palestine and the people of Kashmir. It is our duty to raise our voice in every forum in favor of these oppressed people. And it is our duty to persuade the international community to support them. I pray that Allah will make Pakistan the cradle of peace, development and prosperity. May we all be blessed to follow the example of the Prophet.
