Transport fares reduced by up to Rs70

LAHORE (92 News) – The Punjab government has reduced transport fares by up to Rs70 after the drops in the prices of petroleum products.

Provincial Information Minister Azma Bukhari highlighted that Punjab is unique in offering refunds to passengers who have paid more than the revised fare, with district teams actively monitoring the decision to ensure compliance.

She also criticised the opposition for failing to take similar measures, emphasising that Maryam Nawaz is proactive in implementing fare reduction and curbing incidents of overcharging.
