Anura Kumara Dissanayake elected President of Sri Lanka

Anura Kumara Dissanayake has been elected as the President of Sri Lanka.

According to Sri Lankan media, the votes were recounted for the first time in Sri Lankan history. For the first time, no candidate could get 50% of the votes. The current president of Sri Lanka came third.
