Extension of date for submission of income tax returns

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the date of submission of income tax returns by 14 days.

Notification for extension of date for submission of income tax returns has been issued.

According to the notification issued, the date of submission of income tax returns is being extended by 14 days.

Taxpayers can file income tax returns till October 14. The date for submission of returns was extended on the demand of trade organizations and tax bar associations.

It should be noted that earlier the last date for submission of income tax returns by FBR was fixed on September 30 and announced not to extend it.
