Never buy Promas Infusion, a drug used to treat fever and pain, Drip warning

The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has warned citizens not to buy Promas infusion, a drug used to treat fever and pain.

Drape has issued a product recall alert for Promas Infusion following the discovery of substandard fever and pain medicine being sold in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

It said that a batch of Promas infusion 034 was found to be substandard, the drug inspector took a sample of Promas from DI Khan market, the lab confirmed the presence of unwanted particles in the sample.

The Drip Alert states that Promas Infusion Treat is an antipyretic, antipyretic, antipyretic, and paracetamol manufactured by pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Use of substandard medicine can cause reaction and it can cause fever, blockage of arteries, tremors while it can affect blood supply to organs.

Drap’s company directed not to supply the affected batch of Promass infusion, to withdraw it from the market and asked the chemist to send back the affected batch of Promass infusion to the pharmaceutical company.
